Courtney Ward BSc, RYT, began practicing yoga when she moved to Amherst in 2011 – she found HaTha Yoga Room and has never left! She is the Owner/Operator of HaTha Yoga Room. Courtney completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training with Breathing Space Yoga studio in Halifax and began teaching immediately after. Shortly after she began teaching, Courtney became certified in teaching prenatal yoga and enjoys continuing her yogic education through workshops and weekend retreats.
Her favourite style to practice and teach is Vinyasa Flow as she loves the meditative qualities of connecting movement to breath.
Coming from a health science background as a kinesiologist, Courtney has enjoyed physical fitness for years, however yoga is the only physical practice that has remained consistent in her life. No matter where you are in your life, in your body or in your mind, yoga is for you.
Courtney hopes to see you soon!
